FAQ's

Q: Why have you chosen the title of The Adjournment?

A: As many people who are interested in politics will know, at the end of every Parliamentary day, the House of Commons sits for the Adjournment debate in which a backbench member may choose an area of policy or an issue to bring to the attention of a government minister. The adjournment debate focuses, usually, upon the effect of government policy on the constituents of the member and provides an insightful and detailed debate on the issue in question.

This is reflected here, we are all about the detail and the insightful debate, taking the big stories of the day and putting the claims under 'the microscope'. We provide thought provoking analysis as well as a focus on some of the most controversial areas of the law.
